Things to Do

grace_santorini_akrotiri-4dae66.jpg

Akrotiri Ruins

Akrotiri, also known as the “Minoan Pompeii”, was destroyed and covered by the ashes of an enormous volcanic eruption in 1450BC. The settlement contained sophisticated multi-story buildings and magnificent fresco paintings signifying just how advanced the Minoans were at that stage. Combine this with a visit to the Museum of Prehistoric Thira in Fira, which features pieces collected during various excavations.

Private sailing

Discover the Caldera coastline and set sail to the islands of Ios and Mykonos. Visit the sandy beach of Managari in Ios (famous from the movie Deep Blue) and cruise through the islands of Paros and Naxos, before making your way to Mykonos. Enjoy one of the beautiful crystal water beaches, walk around the picturesque town, or visit the famous ancient ruins on Delos Island. An unmatched, luxurious private motor yacht experience.

Santorini Arts Factory

Housed in an old factory in Vlychada, this center for arts and culture is well worth a visit. It promotes Greek cultural heritage through art exhibitions, theatrical and musical performances and dance workshops, whilst the Tomato Industrial Museum “D. Nomikos” pays tribute to the building’s beginnings as a tomato processing plant. Here visitors are taken on a journey to explore the industrial past of Santorini by learning about the cultivation, production and processing of tomatoes
