Black River Safari

Cruise in a comfortable safari boat past giant Red Mangrove trees with their stilt-like roots cascading from heights of over 40' down into the tranquil waters. See the rare and endangered American Crocodile in its natural habitat and view some of the 100 species of exotic birds in these unspoiled wetlands. You can also view local fisherman still catching fresh crabs in long, thin, traditional wooden canoes - in the same river as the crocodiles!

Scuba Diving

Negril has been described as a hotbed of diving. On the reefs, you might encounter coral-munching parrotfish, sea slugs, slithering eels, crabs, lobsters, angelfish and drum fish. Rays are sometimes found hiding in or gliding along the sandy bottoms, while the odd nurse shark might be found under a coral overhang or in one of the area's caves. Barracuda, Mackerel, snapper and sea turtles are also common sights.
